Kyle has lived in Cache Valley for 28 years and earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from Utah State University. Kyle is competent in: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Solutions-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills and is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Brain Spotting for trauma work. Kyle has extensive experience in working with trauma and an array of addictions, but mainly substance use.
Kyle has vast experience working in residential treatment and outpatient facilities and with those struggling with personal addictions. Kyle is a deeply passionate and personable person and believes that the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist is the strongest factor in facilitating change. Kyle chose social work as his line of work because of his own past traumas and life experiences, remaining clean from substances since July of 2013.
Kyle has been married since 2016 and enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and two boys. Kyle enjoys being outside and loves playing a variety of sports including golf, basketball, football, and softball.
